Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a Chardham Yatra package with MakeMyChardham. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- Bookings can be made through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or email
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion
1.2 Payment Terms
- An advance payment (typically 30-50% of the total package cost) is required to confirm the booking
- The remaining balance must be paid 15 days before the travel date
- For bookings made less than 15 days before travel, full payment is required
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or other methods as specified
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
2. Package Inclusions and Exclusions
2.1 Inclusions
Standard inclusions are clearly mentioned in each package description and typically include:
- AC vehicle for the entire journey (as per group size)
- Accommodation in hotels on twin/triple sharing basis
- Daily breakfast at hotels
- Driver allowance, toll tax, and parking charges
- 24/7 support during the yatra
2.2 Exclusions
The following are typically not included unless specifically mentioned:
- Lunch and dinner (can be arranged at additional cost)
- Pony, doli, or helicopter charges for Kedarnath and Yamunotri
- Personal expenses, tips, donations, and shopping
- Travel insurance
- Any expenses due to natural calamities, roadblocks, or force majeure
- Additional services not mentioned in the package
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please refer to our detailed Cancellation Policy for complete information. In summary:
- Cancellation charges apply based on the time of cancellation
- No refund for no-shows or unused services
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 15-30 business days
- Service charges may apply for refund processing
4. Travel Documents and Requirements
- Travelers must carry valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
- Medical fitness certificate may be required for senior citizens or individuals with health conditions
- Travelers are responsible for obtaining any required permits or registrations
- We recommend travel insurance for all travelers
5. Changes to Itinerary
5.1 Changes by Customer
- Date changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges
- Modifications to the itinerary may result in price adjustments
- Changes must be requested at least 7 days before travel (subject to feasibility)
- Last-minute changes may not be possible due to hotel and transport commitments
5.2 Changes by Company
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances
- Alternative arrangements will be made to the best of our ability
- No refund will be provided for missed destinations due to circumstances beyond our control
- We will inform customers of significant changes as early as possible
6. Traveler Responsibilities
- Travelers must follow the instructions of guides, drivers, and hotel staff
- Respect local customs, traditions, and religious practices
- Maintain discipline and punctuality during the journey
- Inform us immediately of any health issues or special requirements
- Carry necessary medications and personal items
- Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables
- Consumption of alcohol or any intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited during the yatra
7. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemics, roadblocks, landslides, or any other force majeure events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements, but no refunds will be provided for services not utilized.
8. Liability and Insurance
- We act as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (hotels, transport operators, etc.)
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death during the journey
- Travelers are advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the package
- We are not responsible for delays or cancellations by airlines, railways, or other third-party service providers
9. Complaints and Disputes
- Any complaints must be reported immediately to our support team during the journey
- We will make reasonable efforts to address complaints promptly
- Written complaints can be sent to our email address within 7 days of completion of travel
- All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in [Your City/State], India
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of MakeMyChardham and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our content is strictly prohibited.

12. Modifications to Terms
